Managing a bazaar
The organizer cockpit: phases from preparation to settlement, every area at a glance and closing the bazaar.
Once a bazaar is published you run it from Manage bazaar. This view – the cockpit – is your control centre: it follows the course of your bazaar and always shows the tasks that are due right now.
Open your organization, tap the bazaar and then Manage bazaar.
The four phases
The cockpit splits the work into four phases. Each is marked Completed, Active or Upcoming – the active one is open, the others are collapsed.
| Phase | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Preparation | Registrations · Discounts · Notifications · Cash register setup |
| Drop-off | Goods receipt · Articles · Article stats |
| Sale day | Live stats · Tills |
| Settlement | Reports · Documents |
What an area tells you
Every area shows its status as Done, In progress or Open – always with an icon and a text label, never by colour alone. On top of that comes a short metric, so you don’t have to tap in first:
- Registrations – how many are still pending.
- Goods receipt – how many of the registered sellers have already handed in.
- Articles – how many articles are assigned, with max … per seller if a limit is set.
- Messages – how many messages you have not read yet.
- Cash register setup – how many people are authorized.
Messages – always within reach
Messages deliberately sits outside the phases, right in the cockpit: questions arrive in every phase, most of them shortly before and during the bazaar. More under Messages & moderation.
Changing the bazaar data
Edit bazaar data takes you back into the wizard – for key details, dates, fees and more. How that works is described under Editing a bazaar.
Closing the bazaar
When everything is sold and settled, you close the bazaar. Unsold articles are then released automatically and the settlement is prepared.
- Bring every till online once more until all receipts have been submitted.
- Tap Close bazaar in the cockpit.
- Read the summary: how many sold articles will be settled – and, on the invoice model, the note that an invoice will be issued for them.
- Confirm with Close bazaar.
After closing, the cockpit reads “Bazaar closed”. Reports and documents stay available – only writing is no longer possible, conversations included.
