Goods receipt at the desk

Goods receipt on bazaar day: scan the seller number or crate label, confirm the hand-in and undo a check-in.

At the goods receipt desk you record who has actually handed in their crates. It takes a few seconds per person – and everything else knows about it afterwards: the till warns about goods that were never handed in, the reports show the status, and that person’s articles are locked from then on.

Checking a seller in

  1. Scan or type – hold the person’s crate label in front of the camera or type their seller number (e.g. “900-1”).
  2. Check – the app shows name, number and the number of assigned articles.
  3. Confirm receipt – tap Confirm receipt. The badge Received appears together with “Seller checked in.”
  4. Carry on with Next seller.

The seller list

Next to the scan area the Sellers list runs along. It shows your progress – how many of the approved sellers have already been received and who is still Pending.

  • Search sellers finds someone by name or number.
  • If it says “No approved sellers yet”, the registrations have not been approved yet.

Settings for your desk

Under Settings you adapt the desk to your setup:

SettingOptions
Input methodCamera (scan the crate label with the device camera) · Scanner (external handheld scanner) · Manual (type the number by hand)
Show scan areaLeft or Right – the seller list appears on the opposite side

When something doesn’t fit

MessageMeaning
Label unreadableScan again or enter the number manually.
This label is out of date …The seller number was reassigned. The person was still identified correctly – carry on as usual.
No connectionThe desk only works online. Once you are back online you can continue.

Undoing a check-in

Confirmed by mistake? You can fix that yourself.

  1. Open the person again – via the scan or via the seller list.
  2. Tap Undo check-in.
  3. Confirm the question “Undo check-in?” with Undo check-in.

Afterwards the person is Pending again, their articles are free to be assigned again, and you can check them in once more.

What a check-in triggers

As soon as someone is checked in:

  • they automatically receive a confirmation by email;
  • their articles are locked – price and description can no longer be changed, so label and article always match;
  • the till reports it if an article is about to be sold that was never handed in;
  • the counter in the reports and in the cockpit goes up.
