Messages & moderation
Answer seller questions, moderate the event room and set your organization's reply address.
“Can I hand in my crate later?” – those questions come, and they all come at once. In MukiBasar they land in one place instead of spreading across three private mobile numbers.
Where to find messages
- Messages in the app navigation – the shared inbox. Unread items show as a small number next to it.
- Messages in the cockpit – the same view, narrowed to one bazaar.
- Straight from a registration via Write a message.
On a phone the list and the conversation are stacked; on a large screen they sit side by side.
Two kinds of conversation
| Kind | Who reads along? |
|---|---|
| Direct conversation | Only that person and your organizing team. |
| Event room | Everyone taking part in this bazaar who has joined the room. |
You don’t have to wait for first contact: Write a message in the registration lets you start the conversation yourself.
Searching messages
Search in messages searches the text of all conversations – useful when you know somebody wrote something about the goods receipt but no longer who.
Moderating the event room
The event room is the shared room for everyone at a bazaar: write once, reach all. As the organizing team you have four tools – and every one of them can be undone.
Limiting the room to announcements
If things get noisy shortly before the bazaar, tap Limit the room to announcements. Sellers keep reading, only the organizers can write. The room then reads “Announcements only.” Open the room to everyone again lifts it.
Removing a message
Removing someone from the room
Open Manage participants and pick the person. They can then neither read nor write in the room and cannot rejoin. Messages they already sent stay in place.
Lifting a removal
Under Manage participants, removed people are listed under Removed. Allow back in lets them enter the room again – after consenting once more.
Making sure replies reach you
Enter a contact email in your organization (see Managing your organization). It is used as the reply address for all automatic bazaar emails.
After the bazaar
Once a bazaar is closed the app reports “Bazaar closed.”: conversations and room stay fully readable, new messages are no longer possible.
