Messages & event room
Ask your questions inside the app: privately to the organizing team, or together in a bazaar's event room.
Got a question about the bazaar? Write it right inside the app. You need no phone number for it – and you hand none out either.
Two ways to write

You find both on the bazaar detail page. All conversations together live under Messages in the navigation.
Writing privately to the organizing team
- On the bazaar page, tap Contact & chat.
- Write your question into the Write a message … field.
- Tap Send message.
Your message is read by the organizing team, not by one private individual. Whoever has time answers – your question doesn’t get lost because one person is on holiday.
The event room
Every bazaar has a shared room. Everyone taking part writes there together – the organizers included. Useful for questions that concern everybody (“Where is the entrance for the goods drop-off?”).
Joining
Joining is voluntary. Tap Event room – beforehand the app explains what that means:
If you agree, tap Enter room.
Leaving again
Leave room gets you out at any time. You then receive no new messages and no longer appear in the participant list. Messages you already sent stay visible with your name. You can enter the room again later.
When only announcements are allowed
If the room says “Announcements only.”, the organizing team has limited it for now: only the organizers write, you can still read everything. For your own question use Contact & chat instead.
Your messages at a glance
Messages holds all conversations in one place. Unread items show as a small number in the navigation. Search in messages searches the text of all conversations.
Removing one of your messages
Typo, or misunderstood? You can remove your own message.
Good to know
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| No connection | You cannot send right now. Messages already loaded stay readable. |
| Too many messages in a short time | The app slows you down briefly – wait a moment. |
| Bazaar closed | The conversation stays fully readable, new messages are no longer possible. |
| Removed from the room | You can still reach the team privately via Contact & chat. |
A message may be at most 2000 characters long.
