Install the app
Use MukiBasar as an app: in the browser or installed as a PWA on iPhone, Android and computers – without an app store, with automatic updates.
You can use the MukiBasar app in several ways. Either use it directly in your browser or use one of the following options to install it on your device:
PWA (progressive web app)
What is a PWA?
A PWA is a website that behaves like an app. That means:
- You can open it through your internet browser.
- It looks and works almost like a normal app you would download from an app store.
- You can save it straight to your home screen so you can reach it quickly.
The big advantage:
PWAs work on all devices and operating systems. Whether you have an iPhone, an Android phone or a computer – the PWA runs everywhere. Updates to the app are delivered immediately, without you having to update anything.
Installation
Apple iOS devices
Open https://app.mukibasar.de in your browser (Safari or Chrome). Tap the “Share” icon in the browser and choose “Add to Home Screen”. Adjust the name of the app to your liking and tap “Add” – the app is now available on your iOS device.
Android devices
Open https://app.mukibasar.de in your browser. On some devices the installation is offered automatically; simply confirm it. If not, use the “Install app” entry in the browser menu (three dots) to save the app on your Android device.
Desktop computers & laptops
Open https://app.mukibasar.de in your browser (e.g. Chrome). Installable apps are shown in the address bar:
Android Play Store
This is already available for selected users and will be released for everyone shortly.
Apple App Store
You can download the app directly from the Apple App Store.
Finding your way around
The app is split into a few main areas that you reach through the navigation:
- Overview / dashboard – your start page with a greeting and a pointer to your next bazaar.
- Bazaars – all bazaars near you; this is where you search and register.
- My things – all the articles you want to sell.
- Messages – your conversations with the organizing teams and the event rooms.
- Profile – your details, seller ID and settings.

Your next bazaar at a glance
On the overview, the “Next bazaar” card shows you when your next bazaar takes place, how many articles you have assigned and the current status of your registration (e.g. Requested, Approved, Handed in or Waiting list). If you have not planned a bazaar yet, you can go straight to “Discover bazaars” from here.
Language & appearance
You can adapt the app to your preferences – in your profile under Settings:
- Language – the app speaks German and English.
- Dark mode – switch between a light and a dark appearance.
Notifications
The app keeps you up to date – for example with the message “Article sold” as soon as one of your articles has been sold at the till. Next to Messages, a small number shows how much you have not read yet.
